I spent ten years living in Itaewon, the district of Seoul just below Namsam Mountain, sitting on the Han river, conveniently located next to the Yongsan American army garrison. It's been a party town of Seoul for many decades. For twenty-two years, Seoul Pub, situated on the second floor next to Itaewon station Exit 4 was a crossroads for all who traveled through Itaewon. With its long wooden bar that wrapped around the room, the pool table and smoke room in back, the bar stayed open until five in the morning, just in time for everyone to ahead to Hooker Hill. 2017.
