The Faces of Korea

A collection of oil paintings by Aaron Cossrow documenting authentic culture on the streets of Seoul, Korea. The work focuses on the portraits of everyday people working in traditional cityscapes. An older generation of Koreans and their customs fade into the backstreets of an ever-developing Seoul metropolis. The compositions are a combination of details, textures, clothes and backgrounds which create a unique and signature style of the artist.
