Commonly referred to as Hooker Hill, this street was a holdout of a few of the last great bars of Itaewon. Itaewon, the neighborhood which grew out of the Yongsan Army Garrison in central Seoul had bars and nightlife in the newly formed Asian Metropolis going in to the late hours of the night. Over the decades, the old bars condensed along a few hills leading up to where Seoul Central Mosque is currently located. Mama Kim's Grand Ole Opry and notorious Old Town sat back to back with a party until 10am. 2016. Art by Aaron Cossrow
